| How to get PROMOTED in the NWoF Guild: |
A lot of members have been asking about our promotion criteria on our guild message board.
Here is ALL the information about getting promoted in our guild.
1. The main thing that determines your promotion is how ACTIVE you are.
By this we mean that you have to chat on our message board, *NO spamming please*!
and take part in our guild activities like games and
programs. Since all our games are beneficial to our members *we do NOT ask for nps/items for any game*,
most members readily take part in our activities. Just feel free to join in!
2. The other main criteria that determines your promotion is how HELPFUL you are to other members.
This one is pretty simple to achieve as long as you are active on the guild msg board.
Just help out anyone who needs help on our msg board.
You'll notice that most of our REALLY high ranked members help out regularly.
3. Follow the guild rules!
4. Be respectful of others.
Members are not on all the time so it may take time for you to get a response
to your post.
Remember to treat others as you would like to be treated.
Common misconceptions:
1. Donations
Contrary to what people think, our guild does NOT ask for donations.
Even if you do not donate you'll get promoted regardless.
Donations are strictly voluntary and all proceeds go to our guild activities such as games and
promotions.
Unlike other guilds, the council does NOT benefit AT ALL from the donations.
2. Number of Posts
Your number of posts do NOT count towards promotion OR any other guild awards.
Unlike what most people think, the post number doesn't affect our guild promotion criteria at all.
However, redundant posts *i.e. SPAM* will only ensure it is that much harder to get promoted.
Our guild does not encourage spamming as it is disheartening to those members who come on once a week and have to read back 10-20 pages of messages.
We do appreciate such loyalty and lets try to make it easier for our loyal members by not posting redundant messages so they have an easier time.
Lets all be considerate to other members.
3. How long you are in the guild
The fact that you are in the guild shorter than others doesn't mean you have to take ages to get promoted.
As said before, the only thing that matters for promotion is being active and helpful.
If someone who just joined the guild is more active and helpful than someone who joined a week ago, it is only fair to promote the one who is more helpful.
Everything in this guild is give and take.
We strongly encourage members to help each other.
Of course, those who have been here longer and know the ropes are naturally active and get promoted to higher ranks.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter what rank you are.
The Neoworld of Food guild treats our members as family, even those who just joined.
Everyone who has fun and helps out here benefits.
We do not judge people by their rank or experience in Neopets.
