The Neoworld Of Food Guild (NWOF) was founded on July 17, 2001 by
violetbabe & crazylittlecutegirl. |
- Q:
Why is the guild logo a cookie?
A: Originally, the guild logo
(on the frontpage of the guild) was a cookie man.
Over time, the logo evolved from a different versions of the cookie man to the current one which is an animated bitten cookie.
Since then, the NWOF signature always has been a bitten cookie.
- Q:
What does each of the councils do for the guild?
A: One things for sure, each of them have access to the
computer whenever they need one and always ready to help out our members in anyway they can.
But generally, this is what each one does
-- violetbabe: She usually hangs around the
message board from time to time monitoring it since she's got the right to
promote and demote members. She makes the big decisions regarding the guild and
its website.
-- deke_plushies: Currently she lurks around the
guild's message board and helps out with html issues from time to time.
-- divineaurora: He updates the guild's
donation list and hangs around the message board for members in need of help.
-- loridori21: She helps around the website updating games, watches the board and gets members motivated. Lori is also in
charge of some guild games & updating the Donation list along with working on
the Donation Shop. She's the one who thinks too much and therefore, comes up with a lot of ideas.
-- tianotoyoko: She works the website from
stuff for the goodie room to recently redoing the website. Also keeps the
newsletter updated. For the guild, Leah does several games and helps to
motivate the staff. She will dabble in doing the guild layouts and
monitors the board ever now and then.

How do I move higher in rank?
A:

How can I help?
A: A lot of ways! For example, being active on the guild message board and answering members who are asking for help.
This counts big time on your promotion too.
You can also give us suggestions
on how we can improve our guild or website.
- Q:
Do I HAVE to donate?
A: No! Donations are all voluntarily or if you are feeling generous. We never make it a "must" for members to donate. It doesn't mean if you don't donate you will not be promoted.
However, if you do donate, you will be highly appreciated.
- Q:
How do I donate?
A: The neoworld_of_food a/c is the guild's official a/c. Anybody using another a/c acting as our guild is probably a cheat!
If you are feeling generous, feel free to purchase any items from that shop and it will be considered
a donation to the guild. Any Food items you wish to donate should be sent to this account.
If you wish to send other items, please send them to the guild's
nwof_prize account.
Remember that sending worthless items to our guild a/c doesn't count for anything !!! Thank you :)
*Also please note that participating in the Guild's Auctions does NOT count towards donations.
- Q:
Can I hold a game for the members myself?
A: Sure. Members are allowed to have games
on the BOARD ONLY as long as it doesn't involve asking nps/items from other members.
Remember our guild believes in
giving out nps rather than taking nps from our members.
- Q:
Will the NWOF ever become a private guild?
A: Perhaps in the future. We have made ourselves private
several times before but have become open for the moment.
- Q: Who are those weird people in the funny pictures?
A: Lol. All pictures
are sent in by
guild members by their own initiative. It is a way for us to get to know each
other more personally. After all, isn't it the point of Neopets to make
friends? Especially from different races and countries?
