These rules pertain to the use of our guild's message board. Please read carefully and completely. Thank you! :-)
** Note: Because of various issues arising in the past, now only Councils, Sub-councils and board monitors are allowed to warn other members about breaking rules or spamming.
In joining and participating in our guild, you agree to abide by our rules listed below:
1.
Do not abuse the boards by "spamming"
(posting the same message many times or messages with words that doesn't make any sense)
A) Whenever possible, try to incorporate your message into one post instead of a bunch of smaller posts
B) Back to back messages are okay if: you forgot something in your previous post, need to ask or answer a question, or if you wish to bring up a totally different topic such as a quest, a welcome to a new member, etc.
C) Finally, try to stay away from posting such things as "I am so bored!" or "Is anybody here?
2. Do NOT post any of the following on our message board:
A) Profanity, obscenities (i.e., "swear words"), or personal attacks on other members.
B) Advertisement of other guilds or opposing websites which are of no help to guild members.
C) Advertising your own shop / trades/ auctions, or any games asking members to give neopoints. This includes raffles, etc.
* Yes, you are allowed to ask members to look at or rate how your shop is decorated.
* If you have a rare or unbuyable item (such as avatar items) and would like to offer it to guild members first, we will allow it. Please note however, that the guild will take no responsibility in such transactions. Buyers should always compare prices first to make sure it is not as scam. Anyone caught scamming will be banned from the guild.
D) Slanderous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening and harassing suggestions, comments, and/or images.
E) Private or personal information that might identify you or another user such as email addresses, phone numbers, etc.
F) "Cheat" or "hack" programs including any information or referrals to links claiming to have solicitation of user secret words. This is highly forbidden by Neopets.
G) Using your own side accounts to have a one on one conversations with yourself to spark controversy is not allowed.
H) About any donations you've made to the guild
If you are found breaking rules A, D, F or G, you will be banned without warning and reported to Neopets.
3. Scamming is NOT allowed.
4. Do not exchange screen names of AIM, MSN, YM, etc. on the message board.
Exchange of such information on the message board enables anyone to contact you. There are a lot of scammers out there who can take advantage of you this way. So we request that all exchanges of personal information be done via neomail. The guild will not take any responsibility in any consequences resulting from such doings.
5. Conversations are allowed as long as it is open to All guild members.
If you are going to have a long on-going conversation with one member, please be considerate and take your conversation to neomail. Keep in mind however, that religious or political topics are not allowed as per TNT. Any messages deemed inappropriate will be deleted.
6. Do not beg on the message board or spam our members with neomails asking
for items or nps.
If you are active, friendly & helpful around the board, you will receive the attention you deserve.
7. Quest help - We do offer help with Uber-faerie quests for our active members.
Just post your message on the board and somebody will rescue you. However, if the item is too expensive and you are not active on our boards, you might just get the link to buy the item yourself.
So that we know your quest is a legitimate one, we simply ask that you post the faeries request and reply in full. For example:
The Darkness Faerie wants you to get her 'Yellow Paint Brush Collectable Charm'!
And then again the end result after you received the item:
The Darkness Faerie says 'Wow, thanks, you found my Yellow Paint Brush Collectable Charm' The Darkness Faerie laughs evilly and Ipetz_rocks has more hit points"
**Members might refuse to help you with the following types of requests:
- Earth Faerie Quests: She usually asks for VERY expensive items & then
only restores missing hit points and fills up your pet.
- Snow Faerie Quests: It is your responsibility to do
this yourself.
- Kitchen Quest: It is your responsibility to do this yourself.
- Illusen's/Jhudora's Quest: At high levels, these faeries will ask for
expensive items that you might be required to pay back the members for if they
helped you find it. Plus, it is your responsibility to do this yourself.
- Brain Tree Quest: You have to do 2 Esophagor's quest to get the answers for
the brain tree. It is your responsibility to do this yourself.
- Esophagor Quest: It is your responsibility to do this
yourself.
- Witch's Tower Quest: It is your responsibility to do
this yourself.
Please Note:
For Snow Faerie, Kitchen, Illusen/Jhudora, Brain Tree and Esophagor Quests --- You are still able to use Shop Wizard that is why it is your own responsibility!
8. If you are unsure of NEOPET's
Terms and Conditions make sure you read it again.
You wouldn't want
to get frozen for an innocent act.
9. We have some images and music you can add to your shop & user lookups.

10. RESPECT
Remember to treat others as you want others to treat you whether they are councils, sub-councils, monitors or just a regular member. If you are helpful and friendly to your fellow guild members, they may help you sometimes too
Everybody must abide by the rules. This includes those of you have won Member Spotlight (formerly Member of the Month) or any special guild awards.
BEWARE: If you do break any of the above rules, then we can and will remove the messages and determine if suspension from our guild for the period of time deemed reasonable by the guild councils. If suspended and you continue this act, you will be permanently banned from our guild
Lastly, if you have done something good on behalf of the guild, let us know and you will be rewarded as deserved.
